Navarro College is committed to a district-wide risk management program that is strong and active.  The goal of the risk management program is to ensure the protection and preservation of the human, physical and financial assets of Navarro College. The goal is accomplished by evaluation and implementation of the best method for handling risk whether it is through risk avoidance, prevention, assumption or transfer. 

Insurance plays an integral part of the preservation of these assets and the Vice President of Finance and Administration’s office is responsible for the oversight of the Navarro College District Insurance program except for life and health insurance. The risk management program is also responsible for reviewing all risk aspects of contract or other legal documents.

The risk management program is monitored and administered by various departments throughout the Navarro College District.
